Our Fees
Medicare Better Access Scheme:
provides subsidized psychological services to eligible Australians with a mental health treatment plan. To qualify, you need a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP) from your General Practitioner (GP), psychiatrist, or pediatrician.. You may be eligible for up to 10 individual sessions and 10 group sessions per calendar year. Review after 6 sessions.
Private Health Insurance
Private health insurance policies often cover psychological services under the “Extras” or “Allied Health” category. Coverage varies depending on the level of cover and the insurance provider. Check your policy to see if psychological services are covered and if there are any waiting periods. Claims can typically be made through your insurer’s app, online portal, or by presenting your health fund card at the time of your appointment.
WorkSafe (WorkCover)
WorkSafe provides coverage for psychological services if you have a work-related mental health injury and a valid WorkCover claim. You must have an accepted WorkCover claim for a mental health condition caused or aggravated by work. WorkSafe may cover the costs of psychological assessments, therapy sessions, and other related services as part of your recovery plan. You will need a referral from a GP or treating practitioner to access psychological services under WorkSafe.
National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
The NDIS provides funding for people with a permanent and significant disability, including mental health conditions, to access support services, including psychology. You must be a registered NDIS participant with a plan that includes funding for therapeutic supports or Psychology.

How do I make an appointment?

What should i expect during my first session?
In your first session we will focus on getting to know you and your reasons for seeking support. We'll discuss your current challenges, history, and importantly the goals you have. This is a collaborative process, where we aim to create a safe and comfortable space for you to share openly. We may also begin to explore strategies that can help you manage your situation. The initial session typically lasts 50-60 minutes and provides an opportunity for you to ask questions, understand our approach, and establish how we can best support you moving forward.
How long are sessions
Individual therapy sessions typically last 50 minutes. However, the duration can vary based on the nature of the therapy.
Do you offer telehealth services
Yes, we offer telehealth sessions or phone consultations for those who prefer remote consultations or cannot attend in person. Please inquire when booking your appointment.
What is the cancellation policy?
We require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made less than 24 hours incur the full fee due.
Are services covered by Medicare or private health insurance?
Our services are eligible for the Medicare Better Access program and private health insurance, which provides rebates for mental health treatment plans. Please discuss a mental health care plan with your GP to confirm your eligibility.
