Elevare
verb [ transitive ]
/ele'vare/
‘elevare’ comes from the latin word meaning “to lift” or “to raise,” reflecting our core philosophy and approach: that every person possesses the inner strength, capability and potential to overcome challenges and improve their quality of life. At Elevare we focus on empowering clients to harness their own capabilities and strengths in order to lead to long lasting change in which the client becomes their own Psychologist.
"What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us."
~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

We understand how unique each person is, therefore we tailor mental health services to individuals, couples, and families seeking support for a range of emotional and psychological challenges. We focus on delivering evidence-based therapies that are personalised and feedback-informed to meet the unique needs of each person. We take into account everything from your strengths, experiences, unique circumstances and of course preferences for treatment style, modality and treatment course.
Our approach is
Targeted
One of the main concerns that clients have in Psychology is feeling like therapy was too passive, little was learnt or implemented and nothing was retained. Elevere was founded with a specialised focused on providing targeted and progress/goal oriented psychology and wellbeing support. We seek to do this through identifying concrete goals and outcomes, providing education and learning, implementing strategies both in and out of session and following flexible treatment plans which both the Psychologist and client agree to. This supports our personal goal to help clients “become there own Psychologist” so change can be long-lasting
active
We strongly support the notion that “if we keep doing the same thing then we will keep getting the same result". Therefore, our service seeks to foster meaningful change that is created through action. As the best person to help ourselves is ourselves, we strive to empower clients to take active steps towards bettering their life and respect that everyone has their own strengths and capabilities that shouldn’t just be acknowledged but encouraged.
